You ve already seen how HQL injection can be used to cause a DoS attack and bring your system down. However, there are other ways you can be vulnerable to a DoS attack even if you avoid using String concatenation to build queries. One of the most common ways is through pagination. As you ll recall, GORM methods like list and the dynamic finders accept parameters such as offset and max that allow you to paginate through the records available in the database.
